Terms of Use

You are granted a non-transferable licence to use Perpetone on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Perpetone is licensed, not sold, to you.

Every noise colour, the full 1 Hz – 20 kHz tone range, unlimited background playback and the built-in presets are free and are not metered. Perpetone Pro adds convenience features only — layering and mixing, your own saved presets, a sleep timer, frequency sweeps and speaker clear.

Perpetone Pro is optional and is sold in three forms:

• a monthly auto-renewing subscription
• a yearly auto-renewing subscription
• a lifetime one-time purchase, which never renews

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. Prices are shown in the app before purchase, in your local currency.

Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings — tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Perpetone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue them directly. If something went wrong with the app, please tell us as well, so we can fix it.

Perpetone generates continuous sound, including tones above the range most adults can hear. Inaudible tones still carry real acoustic energy. Keep the volume low, and be aware that high levels over long periods can damage hearing and small speakers.

Perpetone is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or manage any condition, including tinnitus or a sleep disorder.

Perpetone is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from its use.

If these terms change, the effective date above will change with it and the revised version will be published on this page.
