Privacy Policy

When you pick photos, iOS grants Pixfold access to those specific images. Conversion, resizing and compression all run on the device using Apple's own image APIs. No photo, and no part of a photo, is transmitted over the network at any point.

Converted files are written to a temporary cache on your device so you can save or share them. iOS clears that cache automatically. We never receive a copy.

Pixfold re-encodes every image it processes, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location from the output. Your original photos are left untouched.

No personal information whatsoever. Pixfold does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth, and has no account system to attach them to.

There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services and no tracking of any kind — across apps, websites, or otherwise. Pixfold does not track you and never requests permission to.

Pixfold Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your card details, billing address, or Apple ID.

To know whether your subscription is active, Pixfold uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier, your purchase receipt and basic device information such as the app version and platform. That identifier is created by the app and is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID.

This is the only category of data associated with your use of Pixfold, and it exists solely so the app can tell whether to unlock Pro.

Pixfold checks for updates to its own code when it launches, using Expo's update service. As with any network request, the servers handling it can see your IP address, device model and app version. No photo data and no personal information is included.

Photo library access — to read the photos you choose and, if you tap Save, to write the converted copies back. Pixfold does not browse, index or scan your library, and only ever touches the images you explicitly select.

Pixfold is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your data. There is nothing to sell — no profile, no history, no images. RevenueCat is the sole third party that processes anything on our behalf, limited to the subscription data described above.

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it and the revised version will be published on this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
